Horne Lake Caves - Horne Lake Caves is
located on central Vancouver Island, near
Qualicum Beach and Parksville, two resort
communities noted for their fantastic warm
swimming beaches. Three of the park's caves are
open for guided tours and two of them are
available for self-exploring. Guided tours range
from hourly "family" tours to longer, more
adventurous trips including the 5 hr.
"Underground Extreme", which features vertical
ropework and a rappel down a seven-storey
waterfall known as "the Rainbarrel" in
spectacular Riverbend Cave.
All NSS members will receive a discounted rate
on the tours. Prices in Canadian dollars.

next door to the cave park with canoe & kayak
rentals, rock climbing, and daily nature
